Italian allied reinforcements
It's been a bit of a gap since my last post but there has been a little progress, including some painting and building these guys. These are reinforcements mostly for the allied CIS Italian forces, with two PIAT teams, to replace the AT rifles from the Axis list. The two teams are basically the same, one gunner and one assistant. The teams are formed from Italian bodies and British arms but they blend very well. I like these teams, although I'm less sure about how they will work in game, with only a very short range and single shot, I think they will either kill what they shoot or die. In addition to the PIAT teams, I built two more para's. These guys will be going with the para commander to form a small assault group, 4 men with submachine guns, to support the 5 man para squads. One thing I like with these guys is the British SMG mag pouches. While it's not quite up to the Italian "samurai" vests, it does give the same feels to the models, I just wish I ...
